Who is this class for?
“This class is for any and all women! The pelvic floor muscles are an integral part of our bodies that we learn very little if anything about! While we are now hearing more and more about pelvic floor exercises for postpartum women, many don’t realize it becomes very important through the perimenopause and post menopause phases of life as well!! As estrogen declines, we lose strength and tone in ALL of our muscles. By learning how to incorporate these muscles into your core routine, you can starve off organ prolapse, low back pain, frequent bladder infections, and many of the conditions that plaque postpartum and post menopausal women.”
The time of the zoom calls don’t work for my schedule, can I still join?
“Yes! All of the pilates sessions are recorded and you can do at a time that works best for you. They are broken up into 15-20 min instructional videos so it’s not too time consuming. Our 1 hr meetings each week will be recorded for you to listen to at your convenience. If you have questions you want me to address, you can submit them ahead of time.”
I don’t have time for more exercise classes!
“I teach you how to incorporate this work into the classes and exercises you love to do on a weekly basis. While you have to spend some time learning and reinforcing the connection, you will quickly be on your way to feeling the benefits and wanting to work it into exercises you are already doing, just making those exercise more effective and efficient.”
I don’t think I have pelvic floor dysfunction, can I still benefit from this course?
“Yes! By learning now, you will prevent issues in the future!”
Why should I do the full program vs just purchase the classes online?
“The online program is recorded to be self directed so it is a great option. However, doing it with the group, having access to me and being able to ask questions is a huge benefit to many clients.”
I have low back pain and can’t get rid of the pooch in my belly, will this class help me?
“Yes! This is often because the abdominal exercises you are currently doing are either being done wrong or you aren’t making the connections at all.”
How extensive is the nutrition component?
“You will receive meal plans and handouts on how to use them most effectively. You will have access to the group and can share ideas, suggestions and successes along the way. I will talk to you about the timing of the meals and why I have included certain foods in the meal plans.”
